For most of my life, I’ve been walking a very human path of learning, unlearning, breaking, mending, wondering, listening — and slowly discovering how the deeper currents of our lives shape who we become.
Along the way, two novels arrived — Albert’s Manuscript and Still Mountain. I didn’t write them as teachings. They came to me as stories. But over time, I realized they carried something larger — frameworks for understanding how we move through the world . . . and how the world moves through us.
So I decided to bring those story worlds to life — not as fantasy, but as living, breathing places you can enter too. These Journeys are how we do that together. They aren’t abstract ideas. They’re invitations to step inside story — your story — and see what’s really shaping you . . . gently, honestly, and sometimes playfully.
There are two main paths. Choose one and come back and do the other later. Come back as often as you'd like. They are free and here for you when you feel like digging in a bit.
Weaving the New World
The Outer Journey
This journey is about how you move through life. It grew out of Albert’s Manuscript and the four archetypes within it — the Weeper, the Walker, the Watcher, and the Weaver. These archetypes describe the very real ways we respond to change, disruption, calling, grief, confusion, growth, and truth.
Most people recognize themselves immediately.
On this journey you will:
take the Weavers Quiz
explore your primary archetype
see where you are in the developmental spiral
notice patterns that have been running your life
discover cleaner, braver ways of moving forward
This is the journey of right place, right timing, right relationship — with yourself and with the world.
It comes from the unfinished Still Mountain novel — a story about an ancient Storyboard Game hidden at the base of a mountain, where children learn how powerful storytelling really is.
Here, we work with Story Frames and the Storyboard World — playful, imaginative structures for exploring what’s happening inside you. You’ll choose a doorway, step into the world, and let your story unfold — then gently translate what you discover into real-life practice.
In this journey you will:
explore your hidden themes and metaphors
approach what is heavy in a playful way
get a glimpse of your inner "landscape"
re-shape an old story into a hero's journey
see new paths up the mountainview
This journey is about deflating old stories and expanding new possibilities.
